    My writing process Since I learned to read and write at school............... ., my writing has been very limited. I've always avoided writing, not because I'm lazy or don't necessarily have time, but because I've looked down on it for so long because I'm not very good at it. I think something happened in elementary school that turned me away from writing. In third grade, I was given the flying carpet theme. I was supposed to write about this, and I did. I did 3 pages of writing, more than anyone in the class. The teacher gave me a C. I couldn't believe what happened and I wasn't at an age where I could really understand why. When I brainstorm, my mind thinks about several solution possibilities and quickly researches those solutions to narrow down the best one. I believe this is one of the reasons why I am my department's facilitator at work. My problem-solving ability is very quick and broad. I'm very good at looking at a machine, a car or a computer and seeing how it works. I can't take apart and reassemble just about anything. It's just a natural process for me to be able to figure things out. I think I think critically all the time, the problem is I have to be able to put my thoughts into words and put those words on paper. Of course, I hope I can express my thoughts more clearly. Learn about advanced writing processes so that in the future I will enjoy writing. I want to be able to describe my thoughts with a broader vocabulary and with more distinctive definitions.
