Every year we leave the city to cross the Christmas lights and landscapes. Christian, Ethan and Kayla get too excited along the way. As dusk begins to fall we arrive, the front door telling us to tune our radio station to 96.3. I turn to this radio station and slow, soothing Christmas music begins to flow through the speakers. It's so relaxing. We start walking down the black paved path with big red and white candy canes leading the way. There are bright lights everywhere. My eyes try to focus on a particular section of light, but my eyes can't if there are that many. It’s still so beautiful. The kids are sitting in the back seat, looking out the window, not even saying a word. As we get closer we notice that the light is on the buildings. Some lights pass directly through others diagonally through buildings. Radiant lights are everywhere left and right. The lights even move to the rhythm of slow, soothing music. All you see are red, green, yellow, pink and blue lights bursting with color moving to the beat of the song. It's incredible. As the car continues to move down the path, the nativity scene with the baby Jesus arrives next. When you arrive in front of this barn with an open front and hay for the floor. Mary, Joseph, the wise men, the baby Jesus and the animals are all there. Suddenly the music stops and a story begins about the birth of Jesus. My children love listening to the story. Once the story is finished, we follow the path to the exit. All of a sudden, everyone is talking and saying, "Did you see when the lights came and went?" » “Did you see the scene in the nursery?” We all talk about it the whole way home. It's an experience in its own right. I'm happy that Christmas music and lights can bring my family
