Essay / Graduate Admissions Essay for Human Resources...
I am interested in pursuing a second master's degree because I have found a career path that I am very passionate about. I have strategically aligned myself with the right combination of education and experience to develop and grow my career as a human resources (HR) professional and this strategy has been key to my current success. Applying to the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Human Resource Management (HRM) program is the next step to achieve even greater success in my field, as I plan to work as Vice President of International Development and workforce planning. I believe Yale fits my career goals because with a concentration in international human resources, the core courses offered in the program will help me improve my strategic thinking and theoretical experiences that will spill over into my practical experience. My academic experience also includes state university. like the University of Phoenix. However, my experience in Phoenix earned me an MBA with a 3.61 GPA and I believe this experience proves my ability to survive a rigorous master's program. It was an intense weekly program with weekly presentations, articles, and extensive readings. The intensity of the program tested my intellect and abilities and it was excellent preparation for the MPS program at Yale. Attending Yale will require the ability to multitask, coupled with hard work, determination, and drive. I am excellent at multitasking, a passionate worker, very determined, driven and driven towards my success as a professional and a quick study with an excellent work ethic. I have great writing and leadership skills and my communication and interpersonal skills are impeccable. My CV will highlight my work experience; however, my current role...... middle of paper ...... al initiatives and my goal is to create an educational center that will focus on disadvantaged youth and their parents. I was the first in my family to attend college and I believe that by helping others, they too can become “firsts.” I have accomplished a lot in a short time; however, my journey is not complete until I continue my education. Essentially, this degree will help foster my growth and professional success. My passion and dedication will speak for themselves. My hard work and determination will prevail and I am more suitable than the next candidate because I have the passion, experience, critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to complete this program by successfully arguing my capstone before a board board or committee. My goals are definitely aligned with this program and I hope my next reading is an acceptance letter from the admissions board..
