Naturally, when babies are born, blue is associated with boys and pink with girls. Biological sex is a social construct, while gender identity is a choice. From a young age, a boy may wonder why he is interested in dolls and costumes, thereby experiencing gender confusion. Many people follow the norms of their gender, but a few oppose their true gender, called transgender. Although many disagree, in my opinion, the transgender community deserves the same rights as others. Why are there limitations for a person just because their gender has changed? Transgender people are human beings and deserve the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Being looked down upon and often suffering, people often feel uncomfortable around transgender people in public places. Transgender people face constant harassment, ranging from harsh stares to negative insults in some venues, but most often at concerts, parades and bars. They are just as human as everyone else, but instead they are considered a disgrace to society. He or she should have the opportunity to enjoy a night out without having to worry about being disrespected and judged. The transgender community faces challenges every day to be themselves and fight for what they believe. Transgender people should not be excluded, but rather encouraged to participate in events and get involved in the public, thereby promoting that they are often discriminated against and are not able to live up to their full potential without the acceptance of society. It is important to understand that transgender people want to be accepted as they are. They make the decision to change sex to be happy internally and externally. Despite differences in gender identity, a person should not limit themselves to the activities they want to engage in. She is not an ordinary man or woman, but she deserves to be treated with respect and she should be able to live
