Essay / Analysis of Zimmer in Elementary School - 1711
Similar to Zimmer, I used to hide and sit in the very back. Even though I hid, everyone knew who I was, a lonely girl who had failed herself and her parents. The girl who could have succeeded in elementary school, if given the chance. Oh, how I wish this was a horrible nightmare, but it's my reality. Bullying is a major problem in our society that manifests itself beyond elementary school. Even though my experience in elementary school and middle school was not positive because of the bullying, I definitely learned something from it. I learned to face problems instead of running away from them like a coward. Although I'm an adult, I still face workplace bullies in the form of coworkers, patients, and managers. I take small steps day by day to learn to solve problems rather than create new ones.
