People take drugs, tobacco and alcohol for different reasons and some are the result of their origin, for leisure, etc. These uses pose a threat to the health and well-being of adolescents. Teenagers and young adults in their 20s are most at risk of using illicit drugs. For some drug users, use that begins in adolescence continues into adulthood. “Addiction is a developmental disease; The earlier an adolescent begins using drugs, the more likely their use will turn into serious abuse or dependence (Johnston, 2012).” This is where early exposure has, to some extent, a major impact on addiction and addiction. According to (Mackay, 2002), the rapid increase in tobacco consumption and its spread throughout the world represents a great public health concern both globally and nationally. Tobacco is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the fourth most common disease risk factor worldwide; it kills 4.9 million people per year and therefore weighs heavily on countries' health systems. Tobacco harms the well-being of populations. The cost of treating tobacco-related diseases is very high, not only for governments but also for individuals and their families. Furthermore, illness and death resulting from tobacco use impose great suffering and grief on the tobacco user's immediate family, effects that are exacerbated by poverty. Smoking rates are very high in the community we live in and this has some implications. to smokers and people living around the environment, so this forced me to research and find out the reasons for these high rates of smoking and how and what can be done to reduce or even stop smoking tobacco.
