This event was followed by increased muscle relaxation, as I lost control of my physical abilities. During the last stage, I wasn't awake, but my brain was active. During this phase, I dreamed that one of my peers was dying, so I woke up sad and with tears in my eyes. The brain showed me that while I was sleeping, the transition from stage 4 N-REM activity to REM activity was not smooth.
